Reflexology
If you are tired, in pain, depressed, have anxiety, or your body needs to be balanced due to everyday stresses; then reflexology may be what you need. Reflexology is the study of a scientific art, based on the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet, hands, ears, and face which correspond to all parts of the body. The physical act of applying specific pressures using thumb, finger, and the hand techniques result in stress reduction which causes a physiological change in the body. Reflexology has a positive impact on specific organs, relaxation, and pain reduction. Cancer patients that have regular reflexology sessions find a decrease in depression, fatigue, tension, and alleviation of post-operative pain and anxiety.

How does reflexology work? There is an anatomical reflection. Everything about a person is reflected in perfectly distinguishable maps located in the feet, hands, ears, and face. A certified professional reflexologist looks for noted structure, frequency, color changes, and other abnormalities particular to each individual.

Ionic Cleanse
Do you recall the way your body felt the last time you stood next to a waterfall or walked along a beach with the waves breaking at your feet? You breathed deeper into your lungs and abdomen; your brain cleared and the pains in your joints subsided. You felt relaxed and at peace with the world. These invigorating reactions were caused by the ionization of trillions of water molecules as they crashed the earth.

When you have a detoxification session at Faith & Love Reflexology with Rebecca Hastings, you sit in a pedicure chair and put your feet in warm water with an array. The IonCleanse creates precisely the same environment as a walk on the beach, only more powerful because your feet are in direct contact with the ions being manufactured in the water. Within seconds, millions of ions enter your body and begin to neutralize these tissue acids wastes. Clients have reported feeling lighter, more focused, having less inflammation in their joints, less yeast, and fewer sinus headaches.

Infrared Sauna
What is Clearlight Infrared Sauna?

The Clearlight Infrared Sauna delivers penetrating, dry infrared rays which enables it to heat the body from the inside out. Traditional steam and dry saunas rely on the heaters to raise the air temperature which in turn can only heat the skin’s surface. Both traditional dry and steam saunas can be uncomfortable due to inhalation of heat.

The Benefits

• Weight loss
• Boost metabolism
• Improves heart health
• Accelerated healing
• Enhanced immune system
• Pain relief
• Detoxification
• Reduced stress
• Purifies the skin
• Chromotherapy or light therapy
What happens during an Infrared Sauna Session?

A typical sauna will cause a brief 1 to 3 degree Fahrenheit increase in body temperature, strengthening the immune system by triggering the production of white blood cells by the bone marrow and killer T-cells by the thymus gland. This artificially induced fever response kills microorganisms and enhances the immune system function, the body’s best defense against infections.

While our bodies normally pump between 5 to 7 quarts of blood per minute, the Clearlight Infrared heat increases this blood flow to around 13 quarts per minute, mimicking a passive cardiovascular workout and allowing the body to burn up to 700 calories per 30 minute session.

The increased blood flow also raises the oxygen levels of the body, which can help repair cells and tissue, improving the body’s healing time from tissue damage and arthritis.

Infrared heat stimulates the body to release fat-soluble toxins such as heavy metals and other toxic chemicals through sweat glands by delivering the heat through the pores of the skin. Sweating through exercising is not as effective in removing toxins as the infrared sauna which works through the parasympathetic system.

Essential Oils
Essential therapeutic oils are natural aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stem roots, flowers and other parts of the plants. They have been used throughout history in many cultures for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits.
